Brought my car to the shop about a month ago to replace the starter.... they fixed it, works great, didn't think anything more of it until last night.
I blew a fuse (cigarette lighter) and when I lifted the hood & went to replace it I noticed something missing right by the fuse box... The Auxiliary Positive Battery lead & the large plastic cover that resides right next to it were gone... interestingly enough, they reside right above the starter. One can only assume that they were removed when replacing it & never put back.
Now since I don't know what else was under that cover I don't know what else is missing.
here's a pic of some random car on the net to show what I mean.
When you spot the positive battery lead (far side of the engine bay near the firewall), both that & the plastic cover to its left are gone.
So what is supposed to be covered up by that? Does anyone have a picture of what it looks like when only that cover is removed?
Thanks.
