| I guess you never seen the previous GT2's... BUT, I think I know why it's not widebody. Seems the stock body is as wide as it can be legally in most sactioning bodies from what I seen. You can't really homogulate a race car and make the ROAD car wider than the TRACK car... We'll see what the aftermarket holds.

| Makes my inside feel tingly watching that clip. been a true porsche fan since i was 4 years old. they make it better and better every generation. ım so in love with porsche. isnt it also unbelievable that they never switched from 6 cyl to 8cyl or higher. true porsche spirit. look at m3. they are done with 6 and now moving to 8.

| I guess reading comprehension wasn't your forte in school. My response was to why Porsche hasn't made a new look for the 911. Not the GT2 911. And I've seen my fair share of GT2's, thank you very much.

| I think that I am gonna need a new pair of pants each time I watch the video. I also have been in love with Porsche since I was a small boy and it just tickels me to see them get better and better at what they do. I also think that the rear end on that car is a bit wider than one would think. Pitures never show the true lines that you can see in person. Anyways I am glad to see that the GT2 is back and even better than before. F.

| The 997 GT2 uses the Turbo/GT3RS body, so it is wider than the standard 911. It also has the widest tire used on a factory 911 to date at a width of 325. The 996 GT2 was the same configuration, using the wider 996 Turbo body. Both are technically "wide body" cars and are classified as such. The 993 GT2, had bolted on wider fenders which made it wider than even the 993 Turbo which it was based upon.
