Automatic Windows when Lock/Unlock is Pressed

Hi there i was also wondering if anyone could tell me why on my 3 series coupe and also on my friends one this also happens..

You know how when you press the lock / unlock button and hold it down.. it either puts your windows down or up depending on what button you press..

but why is it that the windows at the back of the coupe don't Close up.. they only open.. is there are reason to why they dont close up and can this be fixed??

Any ideas or suggestions ..

Safety issue. At least you can close the windows with your remote. We here in the US don't have that option. Damn lawyers.

oh' really... i thought U.S would have that option.. Australia is usually more strict on things like that...
