really miss my car....cannot believe that it's been in the paint shop for 5 months now....wondering what's wrong with the paint shop....

Five months?! I used to work in a paint shop, and we never had a car in for more than two weeks. And it was a pretty big paint shop. Yeah, I'd go to "check on the status" of your car. And it's VIN. If you own a gun, bring it - you may want to bust a cap in someone 'cause it may not be there.

just changing color but this makes me feel like my car was pretty damanged and have to rebuild every single things...

So you're changing colors, fixing damage, and what else? Takes me over a year to do show cars...

What I am doing right now, taking care of some rusts which is not that much for 1990 car...changing color. I took my car in around early April...'til now just start painting fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid....not even the body, wing all kind of stuffs.

that seems like a rediculous long time for a car to be in paint. I'd deff go check on the shop, and dont let them know you are coing first.

It's Lachssilber Metallic. The shop keep saying that great job will take times.
I really want it so bad...

Whatever you do...don't bug the shop. You don't want them getting pissed and rushing through it just so they don't have to listen to you anymore. Hopefully they're a better shop than that, but I wouldn't risk it/ You're already 5 months in....wait it out at this point.
