Getting my car back and looking to chip it, it's a 92 525i Touring

I'm getting my license and car back soon and I was wondering what chip could I install and how hard/where to install the chip.

The car is a 525i 1992 Touring the 2.5L 12 Valve A/T if it helps with the type of chip I need to get.

Has anyone felt real performance increases after installation of the chip alone?

Also, a CAI is going to be installed, like a 3" inlet pipe, anyone know any good places to get it from...and is there a way around the Mass Air Flow Sensor or do I have to leave it there or find a bigger one?

I wouldn't waste money on "performance" upgrades for a 15 year old wagon m20 525. There's really no hope.

what if someone would have said that about an E30... we would never have this...
