| hey eveyone starting on a day dream here hopefully going to make it reality soon when i start making more cash...thinking about purchasing a e30 roller and putting an engine and tranny to start with and other planns as it goes along...so if anyone can give me advice on a set up or any help at all it would be greatly appreciated |

| Yeah E30Stain has a point with the M30 out of the older 5 series E28's +24's and 6 series etc. In South Africa because they didn't have the M3 they devised the 333i with a 3.3 litre so at one stage the M30 was a factory motor. That's an easy convert. Only drama is that the M30 is an old motor (SOHC) That's one idea

| thanks guys...i was also looking into stroking the 2.5 to a 2.7 and turboing iti think that might be my best bet, but i need to find a tranny that goes well with the set up |

| i'd look at doing one of the stroker kits from ireland engineering. they make good power and seem to be pretty good quality. if not, m50, m52, and m30's are relatively easy to do these days. a lot of people here are starting to do nissan rb20det swaps now. not sure what the availability of those engines is like over there though.... they're bloody everywhere here!
