insurance rates

So about a year ago I got my first speeding ticket...and then it was all down hill from there. I have two speeding tickets and a negligent driving ticket now, (I passed an unmarked sheriff in a ford expedition with tinted windows...in a double yellow). Now don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging at all...in fact I know I've been a dumbass this past year.

My question is about insurance rates. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can find lower rates? I was with Geico...and that didn't seem like all that good of a deal. I do realize that I'll still be paying out the A...just wondering if I could find a better deal out there.

Also, I've heard that with some insurance companies you can take defensive driving courses to lower your rates a bit...is this true? Is there anything else you can do short of selling the bimmer and driving a $300 hoopdie?

Ummmm.....NO.

Several speeding tickets, susp.tags, susp.registration...the list goes on and on for me. For a long time to come i will just have to live with buying a crappy daily driver and paying liability only.

Liability only for my e36 M3 ran me at 3,000 dollars a year
