Bluetooth middle console tray

hey guys iv pulled this outa my car today
i replaced it with the ipod slide middle tray i got from the online auto shop.

heres the pic of the tray that i took out




now my question is that with this tray out of my car.. will it affect anything with my excisting computer and bluetooth ? i havint notice any changes.. i mean.. i still have the bluetooth button on my steering wheel.

second question is that with this tray i pulled out.. what does it do ?? i know its got some connectors here


but can this be converted into an AUX input ?? with the correct adaptor ??? geniune or after market part ??? because i can see there may be some adaptor for this ? or is this purely for external antena only ??
