| Don't know if there is one available for the E36 but I know you can buy the universal remote transmitter for E46 vehicles separately and just install it since the car is pre-wired for one.

| I suggest making one. My car is kind of dirty in the below picture, but if you look next to the headlight knob you'll see 2 buttons. One is the stock fog light button, the bottom one is my garage door opener. I opened the case for my garage door and soldered a Radio Shack button to it. I then dremeled a hole below my fog light button. I then packaged everything up and installed it. Now my E36 M3 has a garage door button installed, no more need to carry a garage door opener. ![]() |
