HID bulb question?

I want to change the bulbs out in my 350z and i wanted to know if i could upgrade from 4300K to say 8000k or 10000k. Can i just change the bulbs or do i need different ballasts or what?

Yes you can, and no you do not need to change the ballast. The factory ballast is very well made, and the best aftermarket ballasts are only of equal quality.

You'll need D2R bulbs. I sell the GE replacements for OEM applications.

They are available in 6k (white w/ slight blue tint) and 8k (deep blue).

03-05 are D2R bulbs. 06+ is D2S. You could always buy a reputable bulb off of ebay or off the top of my head i'll list some of the vendors; www.visionbulbs.com , www.modbargains.com , jlevisw.com or you could do a google search. If you have an 03-05 i wouldn't recommend going over 6k.
