Spark Setup...I need help.

One of friends has a scooter and likes to do wheelie's with it and he had this idea to put a wheelie bar with brake pads on the end so it would make sparks as he was doing a wheelie.

I wonder If I could do that with a car, not a wheelie cause I'd be changing my shocks and springs a lot more than I should ever have to. But I was thinking to use the hydraulic rods that keep hoods and trucks open as a means to put the pads to the road.

I'm sure I could devise something that would work but would the brake pads make sparks on contact with the cement floor or would I need a different material to create the sparks.

Any idea's or comments would be helpful, thanks.

Well yes, I won't be ruining anyway under the car and the brake pads will be retractable so I would only put them down when I wanted to.

I'm just giving you a hard time. To each his own, but I don't think sparking brake pads or whatever you are attempting is appropriate for a BMW.

It's hypocritical of me to say that as the wing on my Project Car was heavily criticized - even being referred to as a shopping cart.

LOL! A shopping cart, did it give you more trunk room?

It may be inapporpiate but it's what I would like to do, if it works out nice I might even patent it 0_o. Not to mention, I'd be the only person to have it.
