Why did you buy your BMW?

What attracts you to your BMW, why did you buy it and not something else or evena different model. What is it that everybody likes about them. I want to see what simalarities some of us may have in common.

i bought the M3 in hopes of tracking it....but i bought them because they perform quite nicely, and are classy.

Some one stole my Honda, and I wanted a more luxurious yet sporty sedan to replace it. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for a 525iT right now. Another reason I wanted a BMW was to graduate towards rear wheel drive or real wheel drive.

After owning two BMWs and several other sports cars i realize that you sit higher in a BMW and can see more of the road in front of you but yet the cr remains low to the ground and in my E36 it seems as though there is a lot of glass and almost no blind spots whatsoever unlike the rx 7 or 350z the blind spots are severe and if you dont know how to utilize your mirrors good then you could be in trouble.

BMW just suits my lifestyle, plus the level of engineering that goes into our cars is amazing.

well where i live not very many people have a BMW and the ones that do are normally retired people driving a 7 series.
but i want to be different and unique and be serious now, the only thing better then a BMW is 2 BMW's i think they are the best car in the world, fast and luxurious but still drivable in all weather conditions. sure and f430 is also fast and sutff, but i don't see those around when it's winter ans the streets are covered in snow and ice

I only had about $6000 to spend and I wanted something that was relatively quick, pretty nice, but most of all it had to be fun to drive...so that led me to try and find a 6-cylinder e36. It took me a few months to find my car, but I have had it for over a year now and I love it.

It really is hard to define what separates BMW's from other cars. Mostly you really need to drive one. I had an Audi S4, VW R32, Lexus GS430 and none can hold a candle to my M3.

I bought my BMW because i hate american cars. I didnt want to be a 16 yr. old who got a grand prix or grand am, or a pontiac firebird or chevy camaro. I wanted something european and i am now very pleased with my decision. Comfort, Speed, Reliabilty, and the look all sold me on BMW's. It also helps that i was infatuated with them since i was little. so yea, theres my reason
