| ... Run a diagnotics. But e36's ussualy have problems with the seat belt buckle. Hopefully it is that because on my car it was the airbag module and was like 500 to fix. I never did though.

| Just last night my airbag sensor came on, it came on as soon as i was leaving GMU gym parking lot at school, which is slopped down (i reveresed up a hill basically), the next traffic light was 400ft away so i restarted the car and the airbag light went away. Then about 5mins later it came on when what seemed to be a modest but more than normal acceleration in second gear. Now its on most the time.. I also started to hear the infamous wheel squeek about a week ago. Are chances high that these two are combined, and its the slip ring?

| the SRS light will not go off in obdII E36s unless reset. it could be a nothing glitch. get it reset and odds are it will stay off. if it does come back.. my bet is pass seat occupancy sensor, or a seatbelt tensioner.
