| Really drove the M3 POS tonite Holy shit. That pretty much sums it up. I took the plates off my old 325 and stuck them on the POS tonite. Checked all the fluids, filled it up with 93 and took it out for a stretch. It must have a set of 3.20something gears in the diff because I can drive around in traffic in third with ease. First gear wheel spin is a blast. The shift into second gets the car all out of shape. Get it straightened out and blast off. Third is a lot smoother. It just goes and goes. I took it out on I-10 and really ran it out. Had some chewy in an integra give me a try. I was loafing along about 75 or so, and overtook him light traffic. He was easy to spot with every spoiler available in the JC Whitney catalog attached to his car . I kept it in fifth until I pulled up along side him. Downshifted into third and nailed it. The exhaust on this thing is a little juvenile for me, but very effective as a psychological warfare weapon!!! I just walked away. 120 easy, although I'm guessing because none of the effing guages work. This thing is really fast. It is having some high RPM ignition problems though. Really breaks up. Almost like a rev-limiter, but I know it has a lot more left in it. I guess it could be fuel starvation. I cant imagine what condition the fuel system is in. That could be the problem. Do you think the original pumps could feed the 6 cylinder? Damn that was fun. kroberts |

| Now thats the spirit! I am guessing the e30 M3 came with the same fuel pump as the normal 3 series, so it MAY hold up for the s52, but I doubt it. The s52 is meant for way more power than the m20 6 cylinder, and the fuel pump probably cant "feed the need". I bet thats the problem. The pump on my e30 325 already went, so I bet a different pump in yours will help alot.

| Ahhhhh, nothing like going for a ride to straighten things out! Good too see the drive put a smile on your face, I bet you forgot what the complaints were in the first place. I know when I flew out to get my car thinking oh man, am I spending to much? Is it worth it? Seeing it made me come around, but driving it...ummm, what did I pay again? |
