| I would go for it if you can find a REALLY, REALLY nice e30. If you can, then it would be a good investment as e30 m3's are probably going to begin appreciating soon. It certainly isn't going to loose much value. They are much, much more fun to drive then e36's and they are plenty fast enough. Good luck.

| _IF_ you can find one that is perfect... Or rare... My shopping list (and I am a picky SOB and have given this a lot of thought) would be: a PERFECT chassis, with full maintenance records, like new interior and under 70k miles on the chassis. A rebuilt engine with OEM internals to turn it into a USDM rebuild of the 2.5L motor - under 20k miles on the engine rebuild. the e30 steering rack replaced with an e36 steering rack. Suspension upgrades with a street and track setup in mind and the EVOIII body work to complete the package. Now good luck finding someone with that setup willing to part with it. ![]()
