black tail lights

i was looking through performance bmw magazine last week and saw these beautiful tail lights, they were for an e36 coupe, they had completly black or smoked,(they were really dark) turn signals and the brake lights were red and the reverse light was white, it just looked really good and i have a black coupe so i thought it would be a good match, any thoughts? recomendations? also there are a similar pair at www.umnitza.com but the turn signals are a little darker in the magazine, please i need help finding these, try and picture the ones at umnitza but darker, sorry i dont have any images.

first... you should send link from Umnitza of the tails... the only ones i saw didnt look very dark.

you kinda have to scroll down ti the middle to get a close up but the ones i was talking about are a little bit darker on the top part, they looked really good, do you think the ones at umnitza would look good on a black m3 coupe cause i have seen the regular euro looking ones with all white on top on a black m3 and it looks kinda cheap, just wanted some ones input

i havent done much research on this but try looking for some over lays or just buy a sray paint that makes your lights look darker (they are made for that). those light are not dark enough for my taste.

If you can't find anything dark enough, try picking up a can of VHT Nite Shades. That should allow you to get as dark as you could ever want to be.

Paint your taillights with black krylon. They will be uber dark. Oh, make sure you have insurance too.

i hand did mine with red, but its so dark during the day, it looks black
it still lets red light through which is nice. I can shoot you a pick if you want.

I do them in a high heat environment, and did about 12 coats of red, and 2 coats of clear. I can make you some if you want.

can you shoot me a pick man, im thinking about just getting the euro tail ights with the clear turn signal that way i can darken it as much as i want, i saw the smoked ones one a black bmw the other day the ones i saw from umnitza and it just made the car look dirty to be honest, so i might have to go all the way black, but get me a pick and i might pick you up on that deal.

My suggestion would be photoshoping them first....just so you don't spend money on something you wont like....

A good body shop can tint any lights any color you want em, as dark as you want.
