NEED SOME MAJOR HELP

hey guys i have a 95 525 and i took the airbags out for a custom install of a PS2 in the pass side and the steering wheel was destroyed upon roomate remove-n it !! i have bought 3 steering wheels and none fit !!! Have bought a MOMO but they dont make a hub for it ...have bought a stock BMW wheel but it doesnt fit due to the back of the wheel ( obviously not for my year ) but as hard as i look on EBAY and other sites etc..... i can not for the life of me find a DAM wheel.....

Does anyone no if the 3series or what year 5series and 7series wheel will fit on my car ??? i am honestly ready to give up !!! Any help would be great !!! Thanks everyone

Why were you messing with the wheel if its a Passenger side project?

As for getting the wheel just go to the dealership and they can order one for your year and make. I thought that the wheels were generally generic for those years, i guess not....

Deaf...i was changing the wheel out for the MOMO one i purchased... but after purchasing it the guy who is a " MOMO " dealer told me that as far as he knows the dont make a HUB for my year. 1990 was the last year they made one for the 5series.... I have called a local dealer and they said it would be 400.00 just for the wheel without a AIRBAG !!! Honestly i dont care about the airbag but dont want a wheel that it has been deployed and is torn open !! And really dont feel like spending that much money for something i already have !!! Have spent 500.00 alone and now stuck with two damn steering wheels i cant use !!

The big question i have is will a 3series ( like a 1995 M3 or just 325i) wheel fit on mine ??? Seems like NO ONE has had any luck finding and or answering this question for my........ANY HELP ANYONE ??? Thanks guys

i swear someone posted this same problem before.....and deafboy answered it like that......de ja vou or something...wierd. anyhow, a steering wheel is not something i would fuck with, especially on a bmw. your prolly gonna have to get one off of another e34, barring that they didnt make small design changes along the way, in which case youll need one from the exact same year or just order from the dealer. it sucks man, tough break. one of the downsides to using aftermarket parts on a bmw.

try looking at other manufacturers that make steering wheel hubs ther has to be one Im 100% sure.

man that sucks. if this will help u, another forum im on has someone trying to sell a 94 m3 steering wheel with airbag for i guess around $250us (its $400 australian) but if u find that will fit, i can contact him for u and set u two up. good luck anywho

thanks for the offer Sherv.. but have done some massive search-n online this week and actually drove 125miles to confirm that a 3series will NOT fit !!! but thanks for the help ! the whole PS2 thing is gonna b sick win its all finished and the car is done !! it has been sitting in the garage for the past 3months due to the weather here ( dont get the luxury of WARM weather like the EAST and WEST coast) so i decided to just start going with me ideas ! but i am happy to say ...I HAVE A NEW FACTORY WHEEL that i found in a larger city and just got real luck i ran into a guy that repairs salvaged BMWs at a gas station before leave-n to drive back home .... the search and crap is over !! by the way he has a theft recovery 97 M3 there for a hella of a price if anyone is interestd !!! l8r guys and thanks again
