| new head unit ok, so im a pretty big noob when it comes to car audio. All i am looking for is a new deck to replace the stock e36 unit. I found this deck here and like it... http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...496601,00.html will this fit an e36 sedan? is it possible to hook the e36 6 disc changer up? is this a good buy? is this a good unit? Thanks

| yea, pretty much any of those Pioneer Head units yall talkin bout are awsome. I'd recommend Pioneer, Alpine, or Eclipse. And they will fit nicely, just make sure its a double din head unit tho. The 850 or 7700 MP play MP3, CDR and have kewl visual displays on them especially the 850 has it in color. Check out Best Buy or Circuit City if you wanna see it on display and they can answer most of your questions bout it. |

| my bad yo, jsut make sure it is NOT a double din head unit. DIN is usually the size of the head unit. on a e36 it takes a single DIN, which Alpine and Pioneer have and have the best fitment. I use to have the Alpine IVA D900 in my car and fit great the only problem i had since it was a In-dash TV unit the wires blocked my main AC vent over the stereo. |
