I pulled out on a street today, and I hate it when people do that and make me slow down, so I usually get to the limit quickly. My coffee did a backflip right out of the cupholder onto my passenger seat. It was a pain in the ass to get out of between the cracks.

Oh, by the heading it sounded like you hated the M3, but you hate just the people that get in front of you and drive slow. Yeah I hate it when they do that, I also just reach the speed limit fast. I was worried there. Is it possible to hate an M3, I hope not

First thing I did when I found out that earlier E36 M3's didn't have cupholders: swap with a guy who wanted cupholders and the armrest. Straight swap, he paid for shipping both ways. Got rid of the useless cupholders and the armrest (which was always in the way and/or squeaking badly, anyway) in one fell swoop.

where do you put your spare change? thats where all my coins go. the arm rest is great on long drives and in traffic (which im in everyday)

Spare change goes in my pocket, so it doesn't rattle around. In a pinch, I toss it in the tray (that the cupholders replaced).

To me, the armrest was always uncomfortable, so I always had it flipped up. But then it squeaked all the time, and would sometimes fall on me.

my arm rest was always up. its so stupid and makes shifting really uncomfortable.

i also have a beverage story. one time i was driving back to school from getting lunch and i thought it would be a good idea to put a full medium coke (mcdonalds) in the space under the arm rest standing up. i made it all the way to school but when i was goin into the parking lot the drink tipped and i had a little lake in my "cup holder". i rushed the car to the nearest parking spot and ripped off my jacket to clean it up. i skipped the rest of the day and cleaned my car lol. anyways it really sucked.
