Help with some legal Issues with my m3's title
I bought this from a guy in Davie Florida. I bought it on October 8th. It was supose to be shipped the friday hurricane Wilma hit, delaying the shipping. The guy was screwing me around before. Long story short it took me about 6 weeks to get the car from when it was supose to be shipped. This guy will not respond to emails, phonecalls/voicemessages. I think he's jerking me around. He doesn't have the title, is in jail or fled the country for all I know. All I want is the damn title to register it so I can drive it legally.

I have to send verified mail, wait the 30 days for it to expire THEN I can fill out the paperwork required for a cirtificate of ownership wich takes 60-120 days to "process" then I can register my car. So, I'm looking at roughly 4-5 months before I can get it registered. Is there any way I could get this faster?


I have the car in my possession, records showing that I paid for it, and records for shipping. I just don't have a bill of sale or title.

Doesn't matter, they can still Impound it. I've been driving it some but I do keep what records I have.
