Extended Warranties

Ok, I've decided to buy my 2003 330i following the end of my lease. At that time, I'll have one more year left on the factory warranty. I will NOT spend another $4k to certify the car. What a ripoff!

That said, I do want to purchase an aftermarket extended warranty. Do you guys have any experience with these? Your thoughts and recommendations are appreciated!

Well When I bought my bimmer I also bought a 3yr aftermarket warranty on it. So far it has been worth it as I have had the thermostat, window regulator, resistor circuit for the A/C blower replaced as well as some messing around with the oil sensor. all of which cost me nothing thanks to the warranty, granted so far the people doing the repairs have been the ones that sold me the car and the warrany. But it should work at any dealership or repair shop from what I can tell by reading it.

By the way my car had like 52-53 thousand miles on it when I bought it, which is why the only way I could let my self get it was if I bought some sort of warranty for it....

They are a bit pricey, but it is definately worth it, becasue alot of aftermarket warratny companies will screw u

The dealer I bought the car from sold me the contract.....

GEICO and GE have some of the best aftermarket warranties out there right now.

I've seen GEICO even cover brake rotors!
