Litres????

I have a dumb question, and that is, how much litres do the Motorsport BMW's have??? For instance, the E30 M3, E34 M5, etc...????

new m5\m6-5
s70/2(just because it was a badass engine)-6.0

e39 M5 was actually a 4.9L

I always thought the E46 M3's were still only 3.2 litres? Shows how much i know about my own car...

Its a 3.2. I think its 3246cc, or something close. Most call it a 3.2

The proper way to round with significant figures puts it at 3.2.

Some people round optimistically, some round pessimistically. Some say potato, some say potato (ok that didnt really work out ) I always referred to the e46 m3 as a 3.2 as well.

Haha, its more than just pessimistic. Its a scientific standard. If the displacement is 3.246 and you're rounding to two digits, you use the number to the right of the second digit and ignore everything else. It could be 3.24999999L , but since the number to the right of the 2 is not greater than or equalt to five, you round down.
