| that would be a schroth style harness, but has anyone used one, Corbeau make similar style harnesses for half the price, on soloracer they say that you can order your bmw from the factory in germany with schroth harnesses. Whether or not thats true I dont know. |

| I have Schroth harnesses in my E36, and they're great. Not difficult to install (even easier if you get the clip-in ones), don't require a harness bar/rollcage, they have the DOT-legal pushbutton fastener (so you can use them on the street if you want to), and they are good quality. I don't know how good the Corbeaus are, but are you really going to choose your safety equipment purely on the fact that they're cheap? The Schroths aren't that expensive, themselves. If you search on the forums for "Schroth," you'll get plenty of hits. |
