Clarification on a 2dr convertable E39??????

My girlfriend tried to tell me that she saw a 2dr convertable BMW on the road and on the back she said it said 545... i showed her the new 6 series and she said that it wasnt that.... I cant figure out what she saw and she has a witness who i talked to who stands by her story... if anyone has ever heard of anything like this let me know because i sure as hell havent

now that i think about it, it could have possibly been an 845, but that wouldn't be convertable, unless it was a custom job.... maybe she read the 845 as 545.... 8 series' are pretty rare, and alot of non-enthusiasts prob have never seen one or know what it is.... just my second thought

There are factory 840s and 850s. No factory 8er convertible.

I have heard of an M5 convertable from someone that has been confirmed by 2 people I know but I have yet to see it. Custom job of course.
