V1 Install Hidden I want to buy a V1 or 8500 but I hate the look on the window. I want to hide either decetors. Has anyone done this or seen it done? I saw one guy had a V1 in the rear middle headrest. Any other Suggestions? I have an 03 540

I have mine wired into my driver side dome light underneath of my sunvisor. I then fed the V1 wire out of the headliner infront of the rear view mirror. The wire sticks out about 3 inchs and the V1 is suction-cupped to the top of the windshield. From outside you can barely see it, and if a cop ever to be standing beside me he would not be able to see it. And it still works perfectly. Sorry i have no pictures

why do you wanna hide it? If you are worried about cops seing them, just tint your windows maybe? lol Or detached it when you see a cop pull up next to you or behind you ![]()

A kid from high school had a 03 or 04 Cobra and mounted the V1 in the grill and hard-wired it into the driver seatbelt warning light, because in the Cobra it would blink and beep. It worked right well, he never got caught.
