E36 M3 vs. E46 330ci

How do these cars compare? I know they are similar, but i just wanted you guys two cents. Thanks.

e46 weighs more, is more luxurious and a tiny bit bigger, that said it's slower and doesn't handle as well as an e36 m3, but the difference in performance is not that great, with those cars i think it really comes down to preference

e46 is so much more refined and put together than the e36 not comparable. And i think handling wise its about even..
