Anybody know what the specs of the new M3 will be.

Nothing official.

But here are the current rumours...

Supposed new V8 based off the V10 engine found in the M5/M6.
Minimum of 400HP.
New SMG transmission with even faster shifting than previous versions.
A proper manual transmission will be offered.
4-door version may be coming back.
Possible AWD version.

Of course, these are all rumours and nothing is substantiated in any way from BMW AG.

As for images, no one has anything decent without extensive computer touch-ups.

The four door will be cool to have it be back and offered, but a true sports car is a coupe. SOunds all good so far

BMWs should remain primarily RWD, but you can't forget the e30ix or the e46xi. I used to live in New England, and although I had a RWD 325, I can understand why some people would want to drive an AWD drive but still own a BMW. Just my .02.

it's true BMW is not "dead'' when it comes to AWD cars, they just should badge such a car with the M3 emblem. Please don't BMW AG lol. cause i mean Bimmer is above Subaru and Mitsubishi. If they HAVE to , name it e.g 340ix Sport or smth.

i completely understand y some people would want an awd drive bmw, hell if i were buying a 3 or 5 series i would most likely get one with AWD, but for an M3 or any other M car or sports for that matter, i think it should be rear-wheel drive
