kind of the same thing happend to me, but it screwed with my ECU so that the transmission didnt work... i was stuck in fourth gear, i got a ride and let it sit for a couple hours, and it worked fine after that... but you say you have let it sit for 3 days?... could be more of a major problem, have you tried to get a bigger jump from a bigger battery? fortunately, if you got water in your intake, since your car didnt start, there probably isnt any way the water could get farther than the MAF. The ecu i guess has a big problem with that, if possible, get it towed and get one of those free diagnostic tests, maybe someone there can tap the starter with a wrench while they're trying to start it. try it all...

no to steal anyone's thread here but i can't make a new thread cause it keeps timing out so heres my question: im looking at buying a 96 328i with the sport package and a stick, its black/grey leather and has 119,255 miles, it has a clean carfax report, pretty decent shape for the interior and exterior (few dings and scratches as well as some wearing on the seats), i would be getting the car for the trade-in value, which KBB says is around 5 grand maybe alittle less, my question is what do u guys think the actual trade in value really was (i can't find out for a week), also what r some things i should be looking for on the car and what kinda problems might there be in the future, as far as i can tell it has a pretty decent documented history. thanx

sorry for the extra post, but i noticed at this carwash i sometimes go to that there is a sign that warns owners of 92-95 3 series that the car's computer can get wet and get fucked up by the carwash
