i just got handed a 92 2.5 liter motor my school had layin around. it comes with everything but the head and oil pan, but it does come with the harness. im not sure if ill be using it for my car or just sell it for suspension? i checked everything out tho and the block is bead blasted and the cylinders are perfect along with all the timing componants. i might be able to come up with a M3 head cheap from a friend to. so what do u guys think i should do while its all broken down and out? bore and storke, forged internals, port and polish??? any other suggestions???

build up the motor up and dump it in a e30

Put a turbo on the motor u picked up and put it ur car. When it finally goes, put ur old motor back in. All depends on how much money ur willing to spend. U hav a ton of possibilities. Did u pick it up for free?

get as much power as u can out of that motor for the money u hav to spend and then drop it in ur 318 and hold on.......

Meh, the monster engine in the e30 is really good, tried and true, but I don't see many ti's with the power that most people put into looks. I say spoil the hatch and build it up (maybe turbo ^_^) and then put it into that. It'd be pretty sweet...Either way is ok though, it's just that he'd have to buy the e30.

would cams from a M54 do any good? is there any other good parts of other engines that are interchangable worht gettin to increase performace? ive priced out a set of 84.91 pistons for 7 and some change, and stock is 84.00 so how much displacment am i lookin at when i bore the block to fit these pistons? like a 2.8 or something?
