| the question....323 or 328 my spending limit is 17k, so anything under it is fair game. i live in the worst area of michigan (between chicago and detroit) so everything is 100 miles away...and i need to be sure about the car. while the obvious choice is to go with the 328, im still considering the 323. what would you guys choose? coupes are okay, sedans too. by the way this is my first bimmer...had an 85 camry before, then a 99 saturn......see the pattern of evolution haha Last edited by astor : 05-16-2005 at 06:35 PM. |

| well, thing is i'm not really mechanically inclined...I'm hoping with the 328i, it will open up my knowledge for everything on cars, that way i can save up for an m3 later. im not really ready to shelve out all the cash for an m3, even tho the car is 17k, it includes a lot more hidden stuff ![]() |

I think that they would accept 14k for the red m3 listed in the inventory section |

| I know of an Avus blue 1995 M3 with 65K miles on it for 12K. Beautiful. Hey you can buy my 323is for 17K and I'll take the M3, but you can't park her in Detroit. Here is the link: Come meet up with use Detroit BMWs on BFc, check regional section http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=358362

| when and "if" you'll be looking at maintainence costs and cost for part i would advise not to go with the M3 (just in case you started considering this option by now)
