how to fix?.......

i have a 95 325is. the driver side door handle doesn't open from the outside. from the inside nice and smooth but outside the handle just goes up (higher than usual also). is something out of place, broken, loose? it get anoying opening my passenger door then my driver door just to get in the car can anyone help me.

Okay, something is obviously broken. Take it to a mechanic or someone who knows what they are doing and can physically look at the car. It may be as simple as a clip coming loose or as complicated as the mechanics failing. Nobody will know unless they take apart your door and see what's going on.

Just take it apart and fix it.

And if that's not enough help for you then bring it to a trustworthy BMW mechanic.
