How Loud is your Exhaust ?

The other day i got my exhaust read by a decible meter. I read a 109 decible from up close and 97 from 25 feet away. 80 decibles the the legal limit. Anyone else had their exhaust read?

Oh the cops were hosting some kind of car show at the local "street racing" meet up and were telling people what was illegal on their cars and stuff.......
just thought i would see how loud my exhaust was. I have some universal catback that was like 300$.....prolly gonna replace it wath just an M3 exhaust soon tho.

My dinan is pretty loud. with thee combo of the intake people think im driving fast even though im going slow. but running straights is real fun, anythin over 3k makes you go deaf.

lol my eisenmann is 75dB, its loud enough. but yea i get that too, the families on my street and my parents get pissed off at me because they think im blowing up my street, when im really only going like 20 or 25 in 2nd gear.

Mine turns heads on the highway when I down shift.

I have a modified Tri-Flo, that was cut down 10", and had 2 new pipes bent and welded in to clear the rear subframe of my 330ti.

I run open headers had it like this for 2months
it is so damn loud i got pulled every day for about 2weeks
now no one cares whats with that

95db is the PA state limit, and thats ridiculously loud.
A guy i work with has a Ram 1500 with a 460 supercharged, running straight pipes to dual stacks. he got pulled over 3 times on the way to work one day and lives 15 minutes away.

I have a UUC system U, not sure what the Db would be on it,.....I run around with the windows down most of the time becuse its so freaking loud in my car with the windows up.
