| This is why im Living in Canada for the next 6 months! I am currently participating in the Race Mechanic's Training Program at the Bridgestone Racing Academy located at Mosport,Canada. While i am having a blast and a lot of fun, i came here with a goal and it is to leave this place with a far greater knowledge and level of ability to work in the Motorsports field. Im also participating in the F2000 championship within the Academy fighting for a chance to win a $35,000 ride in next years Championship. So you see im not only gaining experiencing being a race mechanic...But also racing them! I cannot stress how much fun it is. This is why i am alive! Here are some pictures: This is a 1985 F2000 Reynard Chassis with a 2.0L engine and a hewland tranny. Nothing better than shifting without using the clutch (SHHH!!! no one is supposed to know that!...) Overtaken! Pit Lane

| The women i have met here are just absolutely stunning. I give Canadians props for their ability to breed such beauty...and thats where my apreciation for Canada stops!!! And if DTM was working for me..i would be able to upload more photos but as of now the site is being stupid and "cannot find server" bullshit appears. Oh well, i will keep you guys posted as the season progresses and the races start.

| It really is great to work on them and race them too. Tom congratulations on your win at Laguna Seca! One of the chief mechanics here, Dave Deem, also works for Canaska Motorsports and they recently picked up an e36 ex-PTG M3. It is getting prepped for paint and such. Should be out here soon testing. The cars are immensely fun to drive and it completely makes you understand of what the guys further up the ladder go through when driving open-wheel cars. These barely have 130hp/125tq (est) but weigh 1,000 pounds! It is incredible what they do with so little. We use Bridgestone Potenza so-3's and even though they are no racing slick...they work in perfect harmony with the setup of the car. I will shortly be receiving the Canadian A.S.N FIA-Approved license and the first official race of the season is June 17th. I was enrolled in university but "motorsport mechanics" is not a major offered. I dropped out temporarily to pursue my passion. Ofcourse, college is very important and i will be heading back to it sometime in the next year or two...depends on what happens after Bridgestone.
