| There is no need to ban Bookem...he hasnt done anything wrong. In fact all he has done is stated simple facts that only experience brings. Me and my best friend did a lot of research before coming here. His dad works for the IMF and out of pure coincidence, his dad works with a guy that sent his son here. For 2 years! According to him it was a great school etc etc. We also contacted the school and spoke with people about the curriculum and from what they said it was everything i wanted to do. Jim Russel also offers a school very similar to this but tuition i believe is something around $10,000. Im looking into their school as i might apply after i leave here. Aside from everything i have said before I AM learning a lot...JUST not as much as i thought i would. Plus i have made contacts with even more people in the motorsports business that im sure will turn out useful in the future. It is just the way the school is portrayed to what it really is that disappoints me. Your attitude is very important here. You will only learn if you want to and you must pick up everything you can. Im learning how to weld, use mills, cut/shape alum etc etc which is essential in this business. The list of things i have learned is long but it is because i wanted to learn it. Many students here do what they are told without asking questions or being curious. I stay after school, stay in during lunch and also in weekends just so i can learn more. If you know absolutely nothing about motorsports..this place is a great start to get experience and minimal knowledge. I cant stress enough the experience i have so far gained from past BMWCCA races we have done. Besides, i have put college aside so that i can pursue what i really want to do. Im here and im staying here. As Bookem said...i have made my bed and now i must lay in it.

| Yo, i completly understand what Bookem means. However, what i was trying to get across is that doing research on this particular schools is not the same as when your doing college searches. If you go to any website that a university has, it will give you all the info you need. It isnt like that for the Bridgestone Academy. Also, what do you mean that you "allow him to live there"? are you the prime minister of Canada? or are you the queen?? because you certainly have no say on who gets to live in your country. Thats like me telling you that you cant come to the US...which is complete shit. So whatever, no hard feelings here. |

| hahaha mierda. Canada is a pretty cool place to be. I have met countless friendly people and life seems to be at a different pace. I just cant stand having to buy MILK IN FUCKING PLASTIC BAGS!!!! what is up with this shit!? hahahah i dont know whats the purpose but its irritating. Trying to serve milk into cereal and having the bag fuck up and spill all over the floor. very frustrating at 6 am in the morning.

The funniest part is that those of you who should be getting upset and offended, the only one who might actually have a reason to be pissed (carlos) doesn't seem to care at all, or he just ignored me (either way works for me). Ignore me, censor me, or reply to me....it's your choice. |

| it was not a bad choice per se. Like you said, buy an XL shirt when im a size small so stupid him right? Ofcourse...but this is a completely different situation. I researched it, thought about it and decided to go to it. Only then did i find out. In either case....things are getting better. To each his own. I think what has most people confused is how Bookem is so straight and simple in his opinion.

| Chad, if you wanna post something about it. Go ahead, it's cool. I got no name on DTM so they'll be like WTF esp cuz it's a Honda. |

| milk in bags Milk in bags is optional on the west coast, but some places you can't even buy it in containers. As far as being prime minister - i'm obviously not. Wish I was though. I was refering to the fact that Canada is probably the easiest country for American's to enter in the world...and vice versa. As far as the school is concerned, whether it was what Carlos was expecting or not, I'm sure on Carlos's resume of life it's still going to be a highlight. I'm told all the time that I'm a little too forward. But imagine how much easier things would be if people actually said what they meant. Instead of pussy footing around everything. I'm in auto sales, and I have broken every dealer record in this city, simply by telling it like it is. |

| i just got back from Canada after an overnight drive. For the past 4 days straight i was doing the 4 day racing school with 2 practice race starts, lapping, open lapping etc etc. This school is the only one in the industry as far as i know that offers the 4th day of instructing which includes 7 race starts/practice races. It is an incredible experience and by far the most amazing driving i have ever taken part in. In my particular school i was paired up with Marco Di Leo, he is the Canadian Rotax 500 kart-champion and another champion karter Matt Pritiko. I was surely going to get my ass handed to me. The development track that the racing is done has times that vary from high 57's to the 1m10 seconds. To the entire schools surprise and myself the most, i was putting down consistent 58 seconds and mid 59's. On the 3rd day of racing, Marco managed to put up a 59.2 second lap and i managed a 58.8 second lap. You can imagine what his father and his Sunoco sponsors were thinking when i managed to best his time. It was a great day for sure. The 4th day was again an amazing day. While battling with Marco and Matt we all managed to lock up brakes, dive bomb pass each other, spin out etc etc. It was absolutely incredible. By far the best session was the last race when one of the instructors was trailing my tail by less then a foot and put a pass on me coming into turn 12 which is a 110mph+ straight away into a 90 degree hard right hander. I told myself i was gonna make it hard for him and sure enough when he poked out next to me...i braked a tad bit later then him and started closing the door on him slowly until he had to back down. After the session was over the instructors came up to me and explained how incredible that was. Absolutely great. Im home for a week and 3 days then head back for the first race of the Championship. Its gonna be great! Yes i am here doing the Mechanics Training Program, which is pure shit. But the driving is something else altogether.
