Will there be an 06 E46?

Just wondering... the coupes usually lag behind the sedans for a year. So, is BMW going to go without a 3-series coupe for a year, or are they going to continue the E46 for 06? If they do continue for 06, are they going to have 255 hp for the 330ci, or still the 225? TIA... just trying to decide when the latest I can order one is.

(I tried posting this in the E46 tech talk section, but for some reason it wouldn't come up....)

they'll prob continue making the e46 m3, i dunno about the coupe or convertible, if they do it will most likely have the save engines as it does now, thats what they did with the e36 when the e46 sedans first came out in 99

I appears they will split the year like the E36-E46 transformation. If i understand correctly, the '06 E60 will be available as a 4 door to start, then later in the year, Coupe and vert to follow. I agree as previously stated, that the M should carry over an extra year.

The E46 coupe/convertible will continue to be made through this entire year with the fall production being 2006 models.

The E92 coupe is slated to arrive next Spring with the convertible to follow later on the year.

The E92 M3 won't show up until Spring 2007 the earliest as a 2008.

Does anybody know where to find real true 2008 M3 information? BMWUSA.com has nothing on it but I ordered one anyway. I hear 400 hp but what else can be expected?

Not only is it rumored to have a V8 but also BMW is on the wall as what to call it since the 3 series coupe will be called the 4 series and they dont really want to change the name to M4 because of the widely spread name of the M3.

Not happening. There were rumours that they were going to call the coupes/convertibles the 4-series but it was never official and it's not happening.

Just to be clear, THERE IS NO 4-SERIES.

Are you sure about this because I have even talk to people from BMW of North America about this and they said that the coupe was going to be called the 4 series similar to the 5 and 6 series.

No idea what I ordered but it's on it's way. Still looking for more info from the web to find out some more truth on the 08' M3.
