Tuner Bash is going to be whack! I just spoke with my crew and we are not going to show at this event. I just got off the phone with our president and he said this event is going to be whack! I also heard that the coverage in their magazines is not what they are making it sound out to be. Therefore, we have to pass. Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply. I got a couple of questions first what crew are you with? second let me ask you why? Why are you hating on a event that has not even taken place, and this will be our first event. How can you say our event will be whack when we have not even had the event yet? And this will be our first indoor event, so you cant compare it to any other event. Also the other events we have thrown (tuner bash spring break) have all been successful and when we could not throw our daytona event, we received tons of emails/comments about how the event will be missed. How can you say we will not have the correct coverage? if you look at our coverage from our past spring break events, its everything we said. I was always told never judge a book by its cover, but at the same time i was also told you can not make everyone happy. Unfortunally you will not be attending our event, but I hope you hear about how great the event was from friends, or other DTM power members, and maybe it will change your mind when we throw events in the future. If you have any other questions feel free to send us a Private message and I will be glad to answer them for you.

I guess it just seems like you guys don't get it. Your logo is awful, your flyer is even worse. I guess we just feel like you are trying to capitalize on this market because your magazines keep loosing money. Every book seems to be getting smaller and smaller. I also know that a lot of people are getting together and banning your event. You wouldn't even know this though, because you probably get paid to sit behind your desk to write how good your events are going to be! I, on the other hand enjoy coming to this site for the love of cars, and not to capitalize on anyone. My ears are on the street and I can tell you that you will not get the outcome you so proudly and bodly claim. I am not on this website to get into a post war with you so I am done with this. I will send you a big IM SORRY if I am wrong or maybe I will send you a box of kleenex and some flowers! RIP BITERS!

whack... hard to argue with BMW FO LIFE, this event seems like a watered down version of other events I have seen. Without having seen the show, I will reserve judgement, but I don't like the logo, and I haven't heard much about the show other than in Superstreet. Are there any big companies coming out to the event? I drive a VW, I saw that VW was a big sponsor, and then they weren't on the site anymore? Are they in or out? Will you have the new Jetta at the show? Will there be a show in LA this year? Last edited by 2NER : 04-20-2005 at 02:54 PM.

i agree with bmwfolife, my crew and friends will not be there either. why waste my money on a half-assed HIN show when you couldn't get Floppy Disc... i mean Hard Drive off the ground... and what was up with Tuner Bash in FL??? The only reason you get people to your show is cause they are already there and don't have to pay for it. why dont you stick to what you do best... running your magazine into the ground.

oh man! so NOW i run into this thread.... I was up there visiting some old military friends and went to this event.... so freaking lame! that hyped feeling was totally lacking.... it was lacking emotion, people, pretty girls, hot cars.. except for a few worthy cars!.... passion, that excitement... and did I mention people? WTF mate! You ever walk into a Night club w/ a handful of people and try to have fun? well this was just that.... I mean the cars were decent but totally not what I would have expected from a big event, or so called. we came early b/c in past events at Hot Import Nights we've actually waited in lines prior to showtime for hours it felt like. This however my friend was no sold out show! and you my friend are no Hot Import Nights. Let me tell you I am highly dissapointed and disgusted that you would even dare take my money for a show such as this and not feel guilty about it. Shame on you! your mothers should have taught you better. Karma will return and I will not be there to witness it because I am never going to attend another Tbad event again. I wish I ran into this thread before my trip but I guess this is karma for stealing from the cookie jar. I looked on your website for pictures but had an interesting read.... "Tuner Bash After Dark hit hard in Seattle, with over eight thousand people in attendance, and a sold out car show" haha.... more like 300-500 including all the car owners and their guests. now you guys are posting how it was a steller showout on various forums? trying to make it seem like it was the bomb! haha... thousands of ppl waiting in line?... haha I was there at opening and I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.... and to think I stayed longer hoping more ppl would show up! lame!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by EvilElegance : 05-12-2005 at 12:37 PM.

TBAG I want my freakin' money back. I am soooo glad someone put these pictures up so people can see how bad they are lying to us and everyone else. What a waste of money. They did have some nice cars and thats about it! Other than that, there show was whack! I copied them to my desk top and am going to blast these images out! Thank you evil. I am glad someone captured the true reality of their event. Super Street and Import Tuner are a dying breed. They should focus on their magazines before it is too late and let people like HIN, Formula Drift and DUB focus on the car shows. It is obvious that this event is going to hurt their magazines and was probably the biggest mistake they have ever gone through. The bottom line is this show SUCKED and I will never support another one.

| The show was ok.. There wasnt too many models or people in general. Some cars there were awesome but you cant give credit to tunerbash for that, that cred goes to the builders/owners of the cars. I thought the show was ok, and i also got alot of free t-shirts and cd's since there was no competition to go against in getting these But yeah if this show was maybe 10-15 dollars i would consider going again, but other than that i would rather save up for hin.
