| Need opinions. In the beginning of March, I got pulled over in Fairfax and got a ticket for the tint on my BMW. The car is registered in WVA btw. When I went online to look at the case details and pay off this $87 ticket, I noticed that they got my race wrong. It says on the ticket that I am a White Caucasian male.....I'm Filipino. Do you guys think I can get out of it? I know a friend of mine got off a ticket because they mispelled his last name. What do you guys think, do I have a chance? The best part is that my court date is on my birthday.

| The rule here in Mass (it may be different elsewhere) is that for a ticket to be defective it has to a a substantial defect or error. Wrong spelling of name, illegible writing, incorrect dates, times or offense codes are major. Your race was probably the cops best guess and really is not material to the ticket, you are still the same guy. |
