Volga BMW

Volga is a russian car company that made iorn curtain equivalents to old boat Cadilacs. Lots of them floating around in my native land, not a real pleasure to drive by any means.

However, some crazy guy has decided to extensively modify one, original in the back ground)

that is way sick. when i used to live in ukraine, my dad had one but not that old version. it was actually a pretty expensive car at the time. I just got a UA plate on my car that says VOLHA.

those are some nice pics. i remember reading an article about that car in a magazine (car & driver i think). the guy who built it is pretty picky about the projects he chooses to work on. but they did a great job on that car.

Hi
The one in the foreground is really based on an 850CSi.

I think that the Original BMW body work was better but it wasn't My money!

Speechless...Back when I used to live in Moscow I remember my favorite car was the Volga(I was 10 then). Sad to see how far behind russian car manufactureres are when comparing to other countries.
