| History of the Roundel? Tell me what the BMW roundel signifies, or is derived from. I recently learned that it is a spinning propeller?

| yeah BMW used to build air planes, so the logo is a spinning propeller blade. pretty cool

| they did build airplanes, so the propeller siginfies a white prop blade against a blue sky, but it also represents the colors of the bavarian state flag. |
