Steering Wheel sizing

I am debating between a 330mm or a 350mm. I definately want somethign smaller then the stock.

My question is: will the 330mm be too small? Causing a much more difficulty is turning the wheel while the car is stopped or at a slow roll.

Which company makes that quick release adapter for the sterring wheel? Something that can be popped on and off with the push of a button?

330 isn't too small, i guess you could call it sportier? but anyways, yeah check out www.sparcousa.com , they have sick steering wheels and the quick release hub. check out the steering wheel model 323, its 330mm and its what dado uses on his ///M. try researching stuff like this on your own, and you'll soon know everything...

I did research quite a bit. i was asking for personal opinions. I want to purchase from the autoaccessorystore.com because i have store credit there. thats why certain choices are limited.

thanks

ebay is also a great place to look, unless you really wanna blow your money. my friend just got an m-tech wheel for his hartge 323i and it looks and feels awesome (see hartge video thread just under this one). it is a little harder to steer, but only at low speeds, and you get used to it fast (and grow some muscles....).

I have a 330mm and it definately is tough if your tired. It parking is an absolute nightmare. Anything at a dead stop requires two hands, and you definately always have to pay attention. I can almost never use only one hand unless im cruising.

I hope you know that the quick release brings the steering wheel 2-4 inches closer to you. Good luck with the wheel.

i talked to a few people that use the mom hub adapter and say that is sticks the sterring wheel out further which is good in a tall persons case. If i had the quick release sys. and u had to guess, how much more would the steering wheel stick out?

I think there would be alot of comfort benefits from this but it may jepordize the steering comfortability.

I would just go with the sparco adapter, and the quick release. Remember that getting into the car will not be an issue with the steering wheel off.

Dude I just found out that i need both the adapter and the quick release if i want to be able to remove my stering wheel. Screw it, If i don't get the leg room i need I can always install the quick release later.

Dam it! I guess i should have investigated more
