Crashed 325i NOT COOL

Well... I was on my way home from Sound Advice (Tweeter), after getting a great deal on some SWEET MB Quart 6.5" compenent speakers for my Door Panel Project. Was all happy and excited...

Then green light....

WHAM. Not my fault.... Just a green light and wham.. airbag etc..

NOT COOL.

But the people were really nice, and I'm actualy glad I don't have my interior in my car at all, excluding my driver seat... which might turn into a problem. As you can see in the picture, they're differen't form stock seats... they were apart of my reupholstering project. SOOO someone might be seeing those after I (hopefuly) part it out. But who knows.

I am just in one of those "don't know what to feel" moods.

And honestly.. out of all of this.. those wheels BETTER BE in good shape. I DO NOT want to see those go to waste after I just bought them....

Ahh... so you've kept up on my record....

This is MY BMW. And nobody elses.

I had a pretty intense interior project going on (hence the speakers) and I've put a lot of time into this car.

I guess I just have HORRIBLE luck.

Damn canadians....

I gotta be honest it doesnt look totaled. minimal frame damage. maybe 4700 and change in repair costs.

The car's original cost was 4000.

The idea now is that if we just get money for the estimated repair costs, I will take that, and part out my car and just get another one. It's not going to be worth it on a 4 grand car.

I don't know, it's a really weird situation and we'll see what happens tomorrow. Like I said, the people were really cool, and I feel like they'll be very accomidating. Just some people from Torronto on their spring break... and the first thing they said was sorry (and that he was happy I didn't strangle him lol).

we talked last night, and with your almost finished custom interior (if anyone is interested his interior job is prestine! I'd rather have him do my interior than even a world reknown shop) and the mods you have on your car, with parts alone you should be able to get about 3k to 4k, and with insurance claim another... 4k, so now you got 8k :-)

Hmm.. call me hesitant but that blue one on autotrader looks like it has been owned by someone who knew about what it is capable if you know what I mean. I'd be wary of buying one with mods like it has. Find one from an older person who has never pushed it hard. My opinion isn't worth much, it's what you want that counts!!

Yea, it seams a little sketchy, but also seams like a golden deal. Where I live there a lot of people who live in families with 5 or 6 cars, and a lot of times when they sell cars down here, its more to free up space than it is to make back money.

The only thing I can do is go check it out, and I know enough about E36's that I can inspect it well enough. I'll hope to get someone to go with me for a second opinion.

I bought the rims from a person... so there is no receipt. If I can at least get them back, that's all I'd want. The damaged wheel looks to be in good physical shape, just will need some cosmetic touch up.

Plus, this replica (yes it's a replica, Style 71's that come on 330ci's) is top notch. I saw another set of these as a replica two differen't times, and both looked terrible. They are one of a kind, and surely my favorite for E36's.
