I spent 3 hours today washing, waxing, rain exing, vacuuming and cleaning everything inside and out. Go out for a drive right, and one of those big ass dump truck things that you fill full of dirt from a construction site comes up onto free way. He hits a bump right as I move through the lane behind him towards my exit. The bump managed to propel a dirt clot somewhere between the size of my fist and my head skyward managing through a miracle of physics to get me right in my hood right beneath the windshield wipers. Huge ass dent, paint obliterated by all the little bits of gravel in clod. Iv had the car all of a month now. arhahahahhahaaha kill

Man that sucks! That is my nightmare situation. I try to keep away from trucks, but sometimes you just cannot avoid them. Good luck getting it fixed.

If you had his plate number you could have called the company that owned the truck and made them pay for it. When they are carrying a load like that, they are required to have a tarp over it. So if he didn't, they would be legally responsible for the damage.

I know i know, thats what everybody has told me at the time i was just to "holy crap" to do anything. took it to a place today and he said he probably can take out the dents and that the paint could be buffed maybe, wont look perfect but better than it does now. I swear to god if i could find out who the guy was i would light him on fire

that blows so much, but a dent place should take it out, and if you mind a good buff guy, then the scratches should be minimal to none

ok dents out buffed and looks alot better didnt take the guy more than 45 mins of work. still looks a little weird and will probably get it repainted eventualy. but i think il wait to do it, at least until i decided what if any mods im gonna do. and no i didnt see any type of big company logo. I just wish i had thought about it more when it happend, damn thing hit me right as i was moving to an exit. i didnt have enough space to get back on the free way. il post pics soon and get some opinions cya
