Will Phillips HID bulbs work with McCulloch HID Ballasts?

Given I use the same colour temperature (6000K), will I see an improvement in light output by using Phillips bulbs instead of the 'unknown' McCulloch bulbs?

i guess the question is whether the connection between the bulb & the ballast are compatible or not.

I assume you will be using a 9006 base bulb? If so, I would suggest a Philips Ultinon which is rated at 6,000K.

I'm using a H1 bulb.

I highly recommend you use Philips 4100K bulbs instead of 6000k. Like I tell everyone else, after a period of time they will colorshift which will give them that slight blue hue. You can pick up a set of 4100k bulbs for a very affordable price.

if its the same plug then YES.. if not, NO. The ballasts all transfer the same voltage.
