I dont like the idea of replacing the thing that is the heart of a BMW, with a GM engine. But that's just me.

if the LS1/LS6 wasn't such a damned good motor, i would hate on it so bad, but it is a great engine! put that engine in a car that is ten time greater than an F-body or vette and it is a GREAT car, if i were to bastardize my bimmer i would rock that motor, that and it would sound so cool.

Those LS1 and LS6 engines sound beautiful. Hell, just two days ago I egged a C5 into a a stoplight race just so I could hear that car rev. I am happy that he obliged me!

Not sure about putting one in an e36, but I have tremendous respect for those mills.
