| Chi has pretty much summed it all up! The stand looks great and I'm proud that DTM is being represented by such enthusiastic members with quality cars to boot. I'd like to thank Andy, Rob, Anton, Ronnie, Don, Chi, Claudio and Sergio for dedicating so much time and helping me out with the display which looks awesome - I'm really happy about how it has turned out. The models have been great to have on the stand and have been doing an excellent job. The guys from Auto Glym have also been really helpful, giving a free detailing job for all of the DTM cars on show. Reaction to DTM seems pretty good overall with Rob's M3 drawing a lot of drooling stares. Chi's blinding wheels and paint snaps every neck within a 10m radius. Don's Astra was also being constantly complimented, although the Opel badging has a few people confused! Andy's 318iS is looking clean with a lot of people admiring his new re-trim and stereo install. Ronny's X5 (looking classy as usual) also received a lot of compliments. Two members used the dyno, with Rob (drnano) running his E46 M3 on the rollers and Ronnie (spikey) surprising a few with the X5! Rob made 182rwkw, Ronnie's X5 made 130kw at all four wheels. Overall today went really well and I'm hoping that tomorrow will go just as good. Only thing I am disappointed about is that only one member from these forums actually turned up to the show to say hi... was hoping more than one person would be willing to come down and support us? As for pics, I took about 30pics today and I will be uploading some of them asap.

I sold the M3 mirrors a long time ago, sfera down in Melbourne has them on his car now. I wasn't 100% happy with them and M style mirrors are being put on all sorts of cars now, they don't seem as special as they use to be for me. ![]()

| Ahhh, nice work with the E46 hamann!! Love them on the E36...and ive always thought theyd look good with the reiger front....youve proved me right!! ![]() Are they originals, and did they bolt up without mods? or did u need to get them modified to fit? Yea, i hear ya about the M3 mirrors...im looking to sell mine at the moment too.. Sorry about the OT... Hope the rest of the show goes well...hopefully some trophies coming DTM's way ![]() Cheers, Daniel |

| To make them fit you need to swap them around, left sideskirt becomes the right one etc. As a result they make the front of the car look more raked which I don't mind. Only other work needed was a sanding on the inside of the sideskirt at each end so they fit over the E36 panels better. They are fitted like any other sideskirt, with screws and glue.

| hey guys! excellent job, i am sorry i can't be there but you know i am away ![]() nice cars and models, i hope that we do take some good trophies and perhaps DTM will be invited back? i actually doubt that the majority of people with cars in autosalon pay to enter them, it is a rip off... unless you like paying $100+ to show off your car on a regular basis
