| Apexi on a bimmer ? hey just wondering if n-e body heard of hooking up an apexi AFC controler to there bimmer cuz some guy i met says he got an m3 and AFC hooked up i dont belive that he has it but i never heard about it on a bmw

what are you talking about? Of course you can hook an SAFC onto a bmw, OBD1 or 2, just a matter of figuring out the wiring. There's good gains to be had from fuel tuning, a local guy picked up 8whp with just that and dyno time.

I am in the process of installing the SAFC on my 3000GT ... if you know what wires from your ECU do, you should be able to solder the right SAFC wires onto them. But you really shouldn't use the SAFC unless you have some logger of some kind so monitor 02 voltages, EGTs, knock, etc etc... a simple Autometer A/F guage isn't gonna cut it. The SAFC is essentially lying to the engine... and if you tune it the wrong way, it could cause some serious damage. But I don't know. Be careful.
