| It would be interesting to see how the car does against the rest but we would have to look at the rules first and see if the car can actually enter with what is done to it.

| One of the main rules is that it has to be street legal ( i have the entry form in front of me right now). One set of street legal tires and then to be in california durring June 05 if you make the final cut. Other then that its all that they say on the entry form. Also must be insured, registerd and outtfitted with seat belts, fire extinguisher, and a fixed roof or roll bar. |

| what is "street legal"? does that mean it has to meet CARB emissions or what? cause i seriously doubt most of the contenders are legal, looking at the potential entries there...

| street legal as in you can drive it on the road. They have a test to find out how many miles per gallon the car gets. So it wont work then. hummm that sucks. I thought you still drove it on the road? |

| Tthey also do an emisions inspection as part of the test. It has to pass cali emmisions. Probably not happening.

| i dont see how any of those cars are street legal. especially in cali. I saw a thing on car and driver the other day with the supercars. And they are sick. Mostly vettes and american cars. That lingenfelter makes rididculous. I suppose thats what makes them so expensive, being that fast and still "street legal" Oh well just my thoughts.
