| RS*R Drift Festival Video (e46 drifting inside!) After close to 50 hours of diligent assembling and compositing... my video from the RS*R Drift Festival is finally complete! ![]() This event was the most fun I have had at a drift event to date... and the video reflects it 100%! A VERY SPECIAL THANKS to Deception Motorsports for providing me with footage of my competition runs: proving it's possible to make a Top 8 finish with an open differential. "Orido says good smoke!" BIG UPS to DMVM for hooking it up! Without further ado... enjoy the meyhem! | Thanks! I used two cameras: an old Sony Digital8 (TRV320), and a consumer Canon MiniDV (ZR45X). The color output on both cameras isn't great, and the black levels on the Sony are downright awful (it's over 5 years old)... so I have to do a lot of tweaking in AfterEffects to make it look right.

| Thanks, man! I started digitizing the footage from that event last night. I'm not sure how much footage I actually got. A lot of the camera running while staged in line... waiting... and waiting some more. It's always hard for me to videotape as much as I'd like and drive at the same time. I'll post the video up as soon as it's wrapped up, though! I'm going to try and bust it out over the holiday weekend. I'll keep you posted!

| He tapped the wall during an exhibition run. I beleive he bent a tie-rod & bent a rim. A friend of mine (in the orange Tiger Racing s13) ironically tapped the same wall on the other side of the car... so he let Ken take what parts he needed off his car to repair it. Ken went on to win the event as a result - and $6000. It was an amazing display of sportsmanship for both parties. When Ken accepted his trophy... the first thing he did was thank Tiger Racing! It was pretty rad!
