good buy?

I'm looking at an '89 bmw 325is, 6 cylinder, manual, 120k, and in excellent condition. They are asking $5500 but KBB says around 3,000.

you can get the newer body style E36 for that price in the 325. Not a good deal if u really want the old one, offer them way lower then waht they are askign.

if its been really well kept, then yes but make sure it has maintainence records. I [ayed $7900 for my E30. Why would you want an E36 anyway? theyre boring cars and to me its the ricer's BMW. The E30 will be like the 2002 someday, a classic.

$5500 is very reasonable if the car is well kept and shows it.

Any e36 you can find for $5500 is going to be a entry level 318/325i w/ unpainted body shit.

thanks, I'd rather have a pristine e30 than a crapped up e36 for how much I am willing to spend on it.
