| Just got home from a BMWCCA driving clinic.. Great guys, great fun!! I learned a LOT today about myself and my car. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone go to one of these with your local chapter. I feel like a much safer driver now. We had about 8 M3's up there (each bodystyle). Riding with the instructors was CRAZY...they were so fast it was awesome! Best mod you can ever do... Null

| I got to the airfield at about 8:30am or so. Once I got there they gave me a small packet and had me check my tire pressures and fluids etc etc. After that we had a short "instruction" about what we were going to be doing and basic car control. They had 3 courses set up, a slalom, a small square shaped course, and a skid pad. Then they split us into 3 groups, each group did each of the courses for about 30 minutes or so. The instructors would ride with us and give us tips, and encourage us to go faster each lap or time we went. On the slalom they showed us what full braking feels like and what abs does. On the skid pad we would go in a circle as fast as we could go until the rear end would break loose and then theyd have us regain control. Right before lunch they turned the 3 courses into one big course which had a slalom, and several 90 and 180 degree turns. Then we got to ride with the instructors in their cars (there was at least 2 of every type of M3, an E28 M5 and a few other nice bimmers). After lunch they splilt us into 2 groups and had us run the course for 20-30 minutes, then the other group would run, then we'd go once more. It ended at right around 4pm. Apparently that was the level "1" clinic, the next level they do more advanced things, like regaining control during a slide, etc etc. Null
